"KIDAILACK" in Tokyo

Kidailack was also another beautiful spot on the free stage circuit in Tokyo.

Seen from the outside, there is only a small entrance that leads to a tiny hall of five by seven metres. This is the auditorium with a capacity of about fifty spectators and a stage five meters wide and about three and a half meters deep...

Apart from its tiny dimensions, this hall has all the equipment of a normal theatre. Of course, everything is reduced to the bare minimum, but the light projectors and the sound equipment make it possible to ensure any kind of programme that can be satisfied with little; the ingenuity of the technicians takes care of the rest.

On a lower floor are the dressing rooms for the artists, and the "tea room bar" which is in fact the primary vocation of this place. The dimensions of the lower floor are the same as those of the room above.

As with the other places I have described here, everything that technically could be missing compared to more "normal" rooms is compensated for by a wonderfully enthusiastic and extremely competent team. The welcome is very warm and all I had to do was perform in these places to feel "at home".

Unfortunately, the financial crisis, which was gradually infiltrating Japan`s booming economy, has forced this kind of venue to close down....?

« KIDAILACK » á Tokyo

Kidailack était aussi un autre endroit magnifique du circuit de la scène libre á Tokyo.

Vu de l`extérieur, il n`y a qu`une petite entrée qui mène á une minuscule salle de cinq mètres sur sept. C`est la salle de spectacle qui propose une capacité de une cinquantaine de spectateurs et une scène de cinq mètres de large pour une profondeur de trois mètres cinquante environ..

À part ses dimensions minuscules, cette salle propose tout l`équipement que propose une salle de spectacle normale. Bien entendu tout est réduit au strict minimum, mais les projecteurs de lumières et l`équipement pour le son permettent d`assurer toute sorte de programme qui sait se contenter de peu; l`ingéniosité des techniciens s`occupe du reste.

À un étage inférieur se trouve les vestiaires pour les artistes, et le « bar-salon de thé » qui est en fait la vocation première de ce lieux. Les dimensions de l`étage inférieur sont les mêmes que celles de la salle qui est au-dessus.

Comme pour les autres lieux que je raconte ici, tout ce qui, techniquement pourrait manquer par rapport á des salles plus « normales » est compensé par une équipe magnifiquement enthousiaste et extrêmement compétente. L`accueil est très chaleureux et il me suffisait d`avoir fait un spectacle dans ces lieux, pour me sentir « á la maison ».

Malheureusement, la crise financière qui petit á petit infiltrait l`économie florissante du Japon, a obligé ce genre de lieu á fermer boutique….?

« KID　AILACK　ART 　Hall » in Tokyo
"キッドアイラックアートホール" in 東京

「キッドアイラックアートホール」も東京にあるフリーステージの中では、最も美しい会場のひとつでした。

外から見ると、5m×7mの小さなホールに通じる小さな入り口があるだけですが、幅5メートル、奥行き3.5メートルの舞台と約50人の観客を収容することができるスペースです。

このホールは、その小ささを除けば、通常のホールの設備をすべて

備えています。必要最小限に抑えていますが、光プロジェクターと音響設備があり、どんな作品でも満足できるものを確保でき、あとはアーティストの工夫次第です。

地下には、アーティストのための楽屋と喫茶店がありますが、とても美しい場所です。

寸法は上の階と同じです。

ここでお伝えしている他の場所と同様に、スペースの広さや、技術的に不足している可能性のあるものはすべて、非常に熱心で有能なスタッフからなるチームによって補われています。歓迎はいつもとても温かく、これらの場所を訪れる時はいつでもアットホームな気持ちを味わいました。

残念ながら、好景気だった日本に徐々に浸透していた金融危機で、この場所は閉鎖せざるを得なくなってしまいました….

が、現在、場所を移して、新たな”アトリエ第Q藝術”というスペースを始めています。
